From the 16th January to the 18th January, 15 Island School students attended a Model United Nations conference at Concordia International School Shanghai in Shanghai. Model United Nations (MUN) is a great chance to practice public speaking skills as well as become more informed in international relations. Island School has been sending two delegation groups for the last three years. This year, we took on the nations of Bolivia and Pakistan as our delegations.

Overall, it was a fantastic learning experience for all students involved. We would like to thank Ms. Rhian Thomas for all her hard work in MUN overall as well as looking after us on the trip and sorting out all the details so wonderfully. We would also like to thank Mr. Rowson for his history tours at the Bund where he gained an outside audience and for also looking after us on the trip. We could not have done it without both of your support!
