Congratulations Steven Green (12W) who is part of The HK RFU Junior Referee Development Programme. He has recently taken part in the IASAS Rugby Tournament in Bangkok and earlier this year he travelled to Shanghai as a junior referee. It is quite an achievement for Steven to be a referee and match official at international rugby games at such a young age and the Rugby Union have given him a place on their training scheme for young referees that was set up last year. http://www.hkrugby.com/eng/news/4730.php

- Last Monday afternoon, the Island School girls U-20 football team played the Chinese International School at Happy Valley. The team settled quickly, showing some excellent passing and fine individual skill. They defended well throughout with an increased confidence and authority, and the team spirit was strong as always. The final result was a comfortable 6-0 victory for IS against a relatively inexperienced CIS side. It was nice to see parents down supporting the team. The next game is against CDNIS in March. Hopefully then we can manage as a team to have matching socks!
