Nuclear Terrorism was the topic debated by Year 9 students at the Model United Nations (MUN) Conference held at the German Swiss International School on Friday 5th June.
This was the first MUN conference for all twenty students who were coached by Year 12’s Rafael Pang, Lucius Hatherly and Steven Green. Rhian Thomas Teacher of Humanities said: “The students were well prepared, informed, & demonstrated a high level of debating skill.”
Five students were highlighted for their particular achievements:
Best delegation: representing Canada – Bakhita Fung (9R) and Zaheu Jacota (9F)
Best delegate: Darren Mok (9F)
Most passionate delegate: Matthew Ling (9D)
Most persistent delegate: Chul Soo Ahn (9N)
