At the ‘Light Up A Life’ Christmas Concert at St. John’s Cathedral over 60 students performed festive numbers on Tuesday 8th December.
The Chamber Choir, Windband and Senior String Group performed songs including ‘Nutcracker Suite’, ‘Christmas Concerto’ and ‘Breath of Heaven’. The Welsh Male Voice Choir also performed some Christmas favourites.
All the money raised from the evening goes to Hospice Care a charity that provides hospice and palliative care, and bereavement support services.
Head of Music Jo-Anne Trevenna said; “This is one of my favourite evenings of the year. It really is the start of Christmas for me. I am enormously proud of the quality and musicality of what our students achieved, and the professional way in which they carried themselves. What a special evening, and what a great cause to be doing it for”.
