I encourage one or more parents who are committed to having their voice heard in the shaping of Island School’s future to step forward and take my place on the School Council. I have come to the end of my term on the School Council and my son is graduating in June. As a member of School Council, you have an opportunity to understand how the school operates across a broad range of issues, and you can help the school, parents, and students by giving your views. As a member of School Council, you also become a member of the Committee of Parents of ESF, and through that have the opportunity to understand what is going on across the ESF system and have your views heard by the ESF leadership team. This is a critical time for Island School and ESF and the both the school and all of ESF can benefit from your insights.
